Garber and Rogoff have been active in Jewish edu- cation and camping - pro- grams for many years. , Rogoff will serve until December as the high school youth adviser and leader of the Shabat services for mid- dle school-age youth. Garber will be the middle school youth adviser and coordinator of Junior Con- gregation Shabat services. Other youth advisers are: Laura Lazarus, elementary; Sandy Friedman and Joyce Lang, Story Hour. Youth Shabat services are held 10 a.m. Saturdays. The Sunday morning service/breakfast club for middle school and high school-age youth will begin Sunday at 9 a.m. The break- fast club is sponsored by the men's club and youth and education department. Free High Holiday youth services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday for youth age 3-17. A sukka-decorating party for elementary age children will be held 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the synagogue. A Simhat Torah parade will be held 8 p.m. Oct. 2. BBYO Activities The BBYO kickoff dance will take place 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Southfield- Lathrup High School. The theme of the dance is "Se- eing Is Believing in BBYO." Admission is free for all reg- istered members of BBYO. There is a nominal fee for non-members. Music will be- provided by Marvelous Mary of WGPR-FM, and re-, freshments will be served. The entire Jewish youth community is invited. Coordinators for the pro- gram are Mark Wolok of Rose AZA and Lisa Shaffer of Erani BBG. Advisers are being sought for AZA and BBG chapters throughout the Metropoli- tan Detroit area. The next meeting of the Great Lakes AZA Council will take place 7 p.m. Oct. 4 in the Dubin Meeting Room of the Bnai Brith Building. Jack Benny AZA will hold a parent-youth bowling tournament 10 a.m. Oct. 17 at Yorba Linda Lanes. There is a registration fee. The pro- gram will include three games of bowling as well as a continental break- fast. Registration will be accepted through Oct. 12.
