Aguda Contest
Pamela Charney, 17, a

the three top finalists in an
international essay contest
sponsored by the Agudath
Israel World Organization
in conjunction with its 70th
anniversary celebration.
Miss Charney is the first
American student to be
among the winners of the
contest.
Haber to Speak
at WSU Lecture
DR. WILLIAM HABER
Dr. William Haber, a na-
tionally recognized labor
economist and professor of
economics at the University
of Michigan, will present
the third annual Dave Mil-
ler Memorial Lecture at
7:30 p.m. Sept. 28, in the
Community Arts Au-
ditorium of Wayne State
University.
Dr. Haber will talk on
"Social Security — The
Controversial Issues."
There is no charge for ad-
mission and the public is in-
vited.
