Also soft drinks, beer and

While dining, families
are entertained by Chuck E.
Cheese, a New Jersey rat,
his co-partner, Jasper T.
Jowls, Mr. Munch, the pur-
ple pizza-eating monster,
Pasqually, the operatic Ita-
lian chef supreme and the
rest of the singing animal
characters.
They perform on a
raised stage in the central
dining area and are op-
erated by a trademarked
computer system called
Cyberamics . . . in-
vented by Nolan
Bushnell, founder of
Pizza Time Theater, Inc.
and Atari Game, Inc.. . .
The characters perform
26 different skits, three to
five minutes in length,
every eight minutes.
"The Big Cheese" (Chuck
E. Cheese) who "owns"
Pizza Time Theater, throws
out funny insults to the
other characters . . . He is
quite concerned about
bringing in quality
entertainment and becomes
upset when Jasper T. Jowls,
the banjo playing dog, falls
asleep . . . or Pasqually
sings opera off key.
At the Ferndale locale,
two special cabaret lounges
have been added . . .
featuring The King and
Dolli Dimples . . . The

white glitter, satin, and
synchronizes 72 mechanical
movements to his Elvis
Presley-like voice shaking
everything from head to
knees . . . Dolli Dimples, a
865 lb. red, curly-haired
hippopotomus, fascinates
the audience by playing at a
piano bar and singing like
Della Reese.
Other features of Chuck
E. Cheese's Pizza Time
Theater include a large
"cheese" maze for children
to crawl through and Jasper
T. Jowls' general store
which carries Chuck E.
Cheese merchandise rang-
ing from frisbees to yo-yos to
T-shirts.

FORMER OWNER of
the Clam Shop on E. Grand
Blvd. before it moved to the
Mauna Loa site, Dave
Goldfine, in town recently
with wife Rachel, said he
can't find a good seafood

comes from Florida . . .
They live in Margate.
