Marcie Lynn Eskin Garden
planted in Israel honoring
her recent Bat Mitzva . . .
and given at an outdoor re-
ception the Sunday follow-
ing a magnificent Torah
reading in the pleasant sur-
roundings of Adat Shalom
Synagogue.
The Almighty also must
have been happy with Mar-
cie's synagogue presenta-
tion . . . the weather Sun-
day was absolutely beauti-
ful . . . Parents, Mort and
Barbara Eskin, keep a
kosher home and wanted
elegance while maintaining
informality . . . That's
what they got for the almost
160 guests . . . Alicia and
Matt Prentice of Deli
Unique on Greenfield pre-
pared delicious cuisine for
the outdoor dining under a
huge tent . . . and Frankie
Paul was his usual excellent
self with the accordion and
vocalizing.
It was a happy occasion,
too, for Barbara's parents
. . Irving and Sylvia

Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra and the Grand
Rapids Symphony Or-
chestra in a series of 10
Sunday morning concerts
with brunch in the Town

Two jazz concerts will
also be featured.
