CAMBRIDGE, Mass. —
Black students at Harvard
Law School have voted 59-6
to continue their boycott of a
course on racial and legal
issues which is going to be
taught in part by a Jewish
civil rights attorney.
• The students say their
protest is against the
school's failure to hire more
minority faculty members.
The school has 60 te-
nured full-time faculty,
including one black and
one woman.
The civil rights class had
been scheduled to be taught
by Levonne Chambers, a
black lawyer, and Jack
Greenberg. Both are associ-
ated with the NAACP Legal
Defense and Educational
Fund.
