Britain under the name of
Robert Harwood. In it, the
author contended that the
Holocaust was "the most
colossal piece of fiction of all
time."
He claimed the actual
number of Jewish dead
was in the thousands and
that the entire incident
was a gigantic hoax. The
prisoners of the concen-
tration camp he insists
were given proper medi-
cal care, abundant par-
cels of food and phar-
maceuticals by the Red
Cross.
The identity of Robert
Harwood is unknown. The
booklet asserts that he is a
writer and specialist in the
political and diplomatic as-
pects of World War II at the
University of London.
Paul Foster Vowles, the
academic registrar at the
university, has testified in
an affidavit that no person
named Robert Harwood is
now or has ever been a pro-
fessor at the University of
London.
The pamphlet was pub-
lished by the Historical Re-
view Press in Surrey,
England, which is a neo-
facist organization and the
propaganda arm of the Na-
tional Front, the British
Nazi Party. A court order
has since restrained the
Historical Review Press
from reproducing the book-
let.
Three major works have
been written on the subject
of "Denying the Holocaust."
"Debunking the Genocide
Myth," "The Drama of the
European Jews" and "The
Hoax of the Twentieth Cen-
tury" can be found on the
booklists of any white sup-
remacist, American Nazi
Party or Ku Klux Klan
newspaper. All three
treatises claim that the
"Holocaust story" was a lie,
fabricated by the World
Zionist Organization in col-
laboration with the Allies,
in order to derive moral
support for the creation of
the state of Israel.
The National Socialists
it is argued, had no inten-
tions of annihilating
Europe's Jews, the gas
chambers and ovens .
simply did not exist, and
that at the most only one
million Jews could have
died as a result of hunger
and disease.
Paul Rassinier's first
book on the subject, "The
Drama of the European
Jews," is published by Step-
pingstone Publications, an
organization controlled by
the racist and anti-Semitic
Liberty Lobby in Silver
Spring, Md. Rassinier pre-
sents his "conclusive proof'
that the Holocaust was an
unconfirmed fact by
suggesting that "just the
fact that the Zyklon B was
delivered to a concentration
camp does not permit one to
conclude that it was used to
asphyxiate the prisoners."
In an earlier published
booklet, the author had con-
tended that the Final Solu-
tion did not mean the ex-
* termination of the Jews,

ern University in Evanston,

notorious neo-Nazi weekly
"National Zeilung" began
serializing his book, "The
Hoax of the Twentieth Cen-
tury."
Butz, who was de-
ported from the United
Kingdom for his Nzai-
related activities, main-
tains that hundreds of
thousands of eyewitnes-
ses including Nazi offi-
cials were forced in their
testimonies to support
the "myth."
Like Rassinier, he admits
the use of Zyklon B but only
