Dies in Sweden
STOCKHOLM — Marcus
Wallenberg, leading
Swedish banker - indus-
trialist and cousin of Raoul
Wallenberg, who saved
L, thousands of Jews during
the Holocaust, died Sept. 13
at age 82.
Marcus Wallenberg was a
member of Sweden's do-
minant banking and indus-
trial family.
Among the companies
controlled by the family are:
SKF, the world's largest
makers of ball bearings;
Electrolux home
appliances; Saab-Scania
cars, trucks and aircraft;
and L. M. Ericsson, a tele-
phone equipment supplier.
He was a member of the
Nobel Foundation from
1968 to 1976. He was
t. president of the Interna-
tional Chamber of Com-
merce between 1965 and
1967.

vived by her husband, Jack;
a son, Joseph of Memphis,
Tenn.; a daughter, Ms. Lor-

Louis Kantor, retired
owner of the Louis and
Leinoff Delicatessen, died
Sept. 13 at age 74.
Born in Russia, Mr. Kan-
tor lived 50 years in Detroit.
He retired eight years ago.
He was a member of the
Jewish Community Center
and Israel Lodge of Bnai
Brith.
He leaves a son, Dr. Shel-
don; a daughter, Mrs. Irving
(Roslyn) Schneider; and
eight grandchildren.
