Hill Street Cinema, will
present films 7 and 9 p.m.
each Wednesday, Saturday
and Sunday evening at
Hillel. September's
schedule includes: "Sallah,"
Sunday; "A Thousand
Clowns," Wednesday; "Re-
bel Without A Cause," Sept.
22; and "African Queen" on
Sept. 29. There is a charge.
Brunches and dinners are
served at Hillel on Sundays.
Guest speakers often follow
these meals. Hillel also
houses a kosher co-op.

of Wayne State Univer-
sity will speak at Hillel
Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. on "Chil-
dren of Holocaust Sur-
vivors."
The second year of Hillel's
Celebration of Jewish Arts
program brings to the
greater Detroit community
another series of major con-
certs. Kapelye, a Yiddish /
Klezmer Band from New
York will appear Nov. 20;
Israeli singer Geula Gill,
Jan. 29; and Jewish come-
dian Sy Kleinman, March
26. All performances will be
at the Michigan Theater
and series subscriptions are
on sale at Hillel.
New Hillel programs be-
ginning this fall are Uni-
versity of Michigan in-
tramural sports teams and a
fully equipped darkroom
available for student use.
Study lounges are now
available at Hillel
Sunday-Thursday evenings
until 1 a.m. Israeli folk
dancing will continue at
Hillel every Sunday eve-
ning at 7 p.m.
A new dormitory program
will begin this fall. Co-
ordinated by student
interns, this program will
provide three cultural and
recreational activities in
each dorm area every
month.
Hillel will provide Re-
form, Conservative and
Orthodox High Holy Day
services on campus at no
charge. Reform and Or-
thodox services will be
held at the Hillel build-
ing, and Conservative
services will be held at
the Power Center at 121
Fletcher. Reform, Con-
servative and Orthodox
Sabbath services will
also be held at Hillel at
1429 Hill.

CHAIM to Meet
Children of Holocaust
Survivors Association in
Michigan (CHAIM) will
meet 8 p.m. Monday in the
Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the Jewish Com-
munity Center. Refresh-
ments will be served at 7:30.
Dr. Emanuel Tanay,
psychiatrist and past
president of the Michigan
Psychiatric Society, will
speak on "Holocaust Sur-
vivors — Victims or
Heroes?"
