The Dutch authorities in- tend to base the ban on sale of the book and prosecution of anyone who violates the ban on an anti- discrimination law which makes all publications in- citing racial or religious discrimination a criminal offense. Violation of the law is punishable by a maximum six-month prison sentence and an optional fine. "Mein Kampf' is actually not prohibited reading mat- ter in Holland. Second-hand copies can be purchased and the book can be inspected in all the larger public lib- raries but it cannot be bor- rowed. The Association of Dutch Publishers has protested against the ban of the Dutch translation of the book as a violation of freedom of the press. An association spokesman claimed that the publication of the book does not represent a public danger. Some are arguing that the publication of the book can be an effective way to combat fascism. 7-11 a.m. Mse-Tbirs., .Sat. & San. tit 2 p.m, FROM 99c to $2.95 WAFFLE AND COFFEE 2 EGGS, TOAST & COFFEE $2.95 . 8 EXTRA INURES: SOUP, VEG., COFFEE OR TEA JR 1 SW DRINK M1 NOT CHOCOLATE AND DESSERT $1.45 $1.10 A • 4 4 • V NIP v. 1110. ill, • A Detroit's Original Ab, Square Deepdish Pizza 4 Consistently voted • a, • p t • 17125 Conant (corner 6 M Detroit) 892-9001 Van • 8100 Old 13 Mlle (corner Detroit Free Press Detroit News WJBK-TV AAA 4■ 4/16.
