The presentations will be held Sunday at the national headquarters of the Anti- Defamation League of Bnai Brith in New York. The competition was con- ducted by ADL in coopera- tion with 10 Jewish and Polish organizations as a memorial to Korczak, a Polish Jewish physician, teacher and administrator of two Warsaw orphanages who sacrificed his life to re- main with the children when the Nazis transported them to death camps. According to Hadassah Rosensaft and Stanislaw Bask-Mostwin, chairmen of the competition committee, the object "is to ensure that Korczak's nobility, wisdom and self-sacrifice continue to serve as an inspiration and motivation for future generations."
