on Their 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Hyman
(Rose) Silver of Florida were
honored at a luncheon re-
cently on the occasion of
their 50th wedding an-
niversary.
The luncheon was given
by their children, Mr. and
Mrs. Paul (Idene) Fink of
Oak Park and Mr. and -Mrs.
Phillip (Norma) York of
Southfield. The Silvers
have eight grandchildren
and two great-
grandchildren.

OAKLAND SINGLES
will kick off the New Year
with a dance and party 8:30
p,m. Sept. 19 at Scandals in
the Southfield Ramada Inn.
Singles age 21-45 are in-
vited. Admission charge in-
cludes light snacks and
music for dancing. There
