Federation Career Women's
Unit Plans Brunch, Meeting
The 1983 Career Women
subscription series of the
Jewish Welfare Federation
Women's Division will get
underway with a meeting
noon Sept. 12 at the main
United Hebrew Schools
building. The meeting will
be preceded by brunch at 11
a.m.
The Sept. 12 kickoff will
feature a presentation on
the current Middle East

troit Section, National

Ms. Friedan served as the
original convener of the Na-
tional Women's Political
Caucus. She is the author of
"The Feminine Mystique"
and "The Second Stage."

visiting professor of sociol-
ogy at Temple University,

cial Research and Queens
