Rabbi Sirat will report on the current state of French Jewry and discuss the re- cent wave of anti-Semitism in France. Rabbi Sirat will also ad- dress himself to the issue of France - Israel relations and how they have been affected by the recent events. An assessment of recent pri- vate discussions with President Francois Mitter- rand will also be on the agenca. Meanwhile, the WJC has released a study which finds that a con- certed Arab propaganda effort in France has been backed by both left-wing and rightwing elements. The study, issued by the WJC's Institute of Jewish Affairs, describes the work of the principal bodies that spread the Arab point of view and evaluates the level of influence which Arab propaganda has achieved.
