Renaissance
Festival Opens
in Clarkston

The Michigan Renais-
sance Festival will return
for its third season Satur-
day on the,grounds of Col-
ombiere Center in
Clarkston.'
The six-week long festi-
val brings the 16th Century
to life in a wooded setting
reminiscent of fairy tales,
complete with turreted cas-
tle entrance, thatch roof
shops and the gaiety of au-
thentically costumed
entertainers.
