Marriage Unit Sets Events
The Michigan Chapter of
Jewish Marriage Encounter
will host Rabbi and Mrs.
Milton (Ruth) Rosenfeld as
the rabbinic couple present-
ing the next Jewish Mar-
riage Encounter Weekend,
Aug. 21-23.
Rabbi Rosenfeld was or-
dained at Hebrew Union
College in 1960 and has
been the rabbi of Temple Is-
rael in Staten Island, N.Y.
for the past 10 years.
This will be the first
Michigan Jewish Marriage
Encounter Weekend where
the three presenting
couples are all from Michi-
gan. The team will consist
of: Sharon and Shel Rocklin,
Dan and Sue Stettner, and
Diane and Mark Voight.
Marriage Encounter is
for couples who are hap-
pily married and who
want to make their rela-
tionship more meaning-
ful. Its goal is to improve
communication.

International Congress of
Jewish Marriage
Encounter, held in Wash-
ington, D.C.
The second annual
Jewish Marriage Encounter

Park 11 a.m. Aug. 29. All
Michigan Jewish Marriage
Encounter couples and their
families are invited. Par-
ticipants are requested to
bring their own lunches and
sports equipment. There
will be games and prizes.
