vorced or widowed, has an-
nounced - its August calen-
dar. All meetings are at 8
p.m. at the office, 16400 W.
12 Mile Rd., Southfield
The four-week support
group series for those who
are separated or divorced
and the support group series
for those who are widowed
begin Tuesday and run con-
secutively on Aug. 10, 17
and 24. Pre-registration is
required by phone.
The continuing support
group series for those who
are separated or divorced
and have completed a sup-
port group series will run on
Wednesdays, Aug. 4, 11, 18
and 25. Pre-registration is
required by phone.
There will be drop-in
discussion groups every
Wednesday evening
throughout the month for
those who are separated,
divorced or widowed. No
registration is required.
SPACE is planning a fall
weekend retreat for those
who are single, with and
without children, to be held
on Oct 15-17. It is also plan-
ning picnics in the South-
field and Oak Park area for
single parent families.

The Jimmy Prentis Mor-
ris Branch of the Jewish
Community Center will
continue its "Know Your
Candidate" series 1 p.m. to-
day. Sander Levin, Demo-

cratic candidate for Con-
gress in the 15th District,
will speak. The public is in-
vited.
On Aug. 6, Doug Ross,
candidate for the same seat,
will speak.

Yiddish Concert
in the Park

The fourth annual Yid-
dish Concert in the Park
will be held 2:30 p.m. Sun-
day in Oak Park's Shepherd
Park.
The concert is free, spon-
sored by Workmen's Circle,
J.T. Zukerman Culture
Fund, Sholem Aleichem In-
stitute and the Jewish
Community Council.
Featured performers
will be Cantor Chaim
Najman of Cong. Shaarey
Zedek, Margelee Green-
Ruby and Sam Barnett
and his orchestra.
The Detroit Frederation
of Musicians helped obtain
a grant from Performances
Trust Fund to help pay for
the instrumental music for
the concert.
