Peace for Galilee campaign
in Lebanon, the annual
meeting of the interna-
tional board of governors of
the Technion was held with
a maximum attendance of
members from overseas and
from Israel.
Detroiter Salman Grand
was elected an honorary life
member of the board and
Dr. Joseph N. Epel was
named an alternate
member. Other members of
the board from the Detroit
area are Sam Rich, Louis
Milgrom, Alex J. Etkin and
D. Dan Kahn.
During the board session,
members visited the Detroit
Mechanical Engineering
Laboratories.
