Dr. Adler, 73, was a past treasurer and member of the trustees and council of the Wayne County Medical Society. He was a past president of the Michigan State Medical Society and served on many committees • of the two societies. He was an authority and pioneer in the uses of insu- lin and had written books on the subject. He was a life member of the American College of Physicians, charter member of the American Diabetes Association, the American Society of Internal Medicine, the American Public Health Association and the American Geriatrics Society.
