Leaders Study '83 Campaign

The special challenges
confronting the 1983 Allied
Jewish Campaign will be
analyzed at a special Cam-
paign Leadership Seminar
to be held Tuesday, at
Somerset Inn in Troy. The
meeting starts at 8:15 a.m.
An on-site review of Is-

rael's severe economic
crisis, brought on by the
conflict in Lebanon, will be
given by a panel which just
returned from the area.
Called by 1982 General
Chairmen Jay M. Kogan
and Joel D. Tauber, the
annual seminar will
bring together the Cam-
paign Management
Committee and other
leaders of the Jewish
Welfare Federation in
discussion of both over-
seas and local needs. The
serious effects of De-
troit's depressed
economy in clients of
Federation's agencies
also will figure promi-
nently in the forthcoming
Campaign.
For seminar information,
call Barbara Satinsky, as-
sistant Campaign director,
at 965-3939.
