The AZA Softball League will meet Sunday at South- field High School. At 9 a.m., Jolson AZA will play Beber AZA; Ruach-Posen AZA will play Rose AZA 2; and Hart AZA will play Rose AZA 1. At 10:30 a.m., Benny AZA will play Wal- lenberg AZA; Akiba AZA will play Goode AZA; and Samson AZA will play L'Chaim AZA. Rose AZA 1 holds first place with a 6-0 record while six other chap- ters are tied for second place with 4-2 records. Daniel Mendoza won the English heavyweight box- ing title in 1792. Cranbrook Senior Honored Daniel Bromberg re- ceived the faculty-senior award of Cranbrook School. The award is given to the senior "who has made the greatest total contribution to Cranbrook School." While at Cranbrook, Bromberg received the Re- nsselaer Polytechnic Insti- tute Medal, the David Knights Math Award and the Alumni Math Award. He also received a National Merit Scholarship. In his division, he is the fourth ranking tennis player in the state. Bromberg is the recipient of the University of Michi- gan Regents - Alumni Scholar Award.
