Hadassah Cites Mrs. Meskin on Behalf of Israel Bonds Meskin, Annette president of the Metropoli- tan Detroit Chapter of Hadassah, will be luncheon honoree at the annual Hadassah Israel Bond Trib- ute' Luncheon. The event, which will celebrate the 15th year of reunited Jerusalem, is scheduled for noon July 19 at Hamilton Place. All Hadassah members and friends are invited to attend the luncheon and the presentation to Mrs. Mes- kin of the state of Israel's Lion of Judah Award "in appreciation for leadership and active participation in the Israel Bond program to bring economic indepen- dence to Israel." Marjorie Saulson is Hadassah's Israel Bond chairman. A tribute com- mittee is in formation. A native Detroiter, Mrs. Meskin is serving her fourth term as chapter president. She is a graduate of Wayne State University, where she earned a BS degree in education. AJC Program for Seniors Adds Seminars NEW YORK— Two extra week-long courses of Jewish study — one at Brown Uni- versity, the other at Boston University — have been made available in July as part of the Elder Seminar program of the American Jewish Congress this sum- mer. The program at George Washington, Ohio State and Rutgers Universities in addition to the earlier courses at Boston U. and Brown is designed for per- sons 50 and older. Seminar participants will have the use of recreational and campus facilities. In addition, there will be a program of special events and a Shabat weekend, in- cluding religious services and special meals, on each campus.
