Unit The Michigan Chapter of the American Friends of Hebrew University has ap- pointed Harold Berry as president. The announcement was made June 10 by Erwin Ziegelman, Midwest chair- man, at a cocktail reception honoring Paul Zuckerman, who this week was named as honorary fellow of He- brew University. The reception was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. David Holtzman. Dr. William Haber, adviser to the execu- tive officers at the Univer- sity of Michigan, was guest speaker. He spoke of Zuc- kerman's contributions to the Jewish community in Detroit and to Israel, and emphasized the importance of Hebrew Univeisity. JWV charge. Levin won 18 delegate votes. Detroit City Coun- cilwoman Maryann Mahaf- fey won 16 delegates. South- field State Senator Doug Ross finished with three delegates and Mercy Col- lege President'Sister Agnes Mary Mansour won one delegate. Levin expressed the an- ticipation that he'll have the support of all labor fac- tions in his campaign for the Democratic nomination.
