For Zion's sake, I will not keep silent,
For Jerusalem's sake, I will not rest . • •

Isaiah 62

Israel entered Lebanon for the sake of peace .. .

• PEACE FOR ISRAEL BY STOPPING TERRORIST GUNS AND ROCKETS
FIRING INTO THEIR CITIES FROM ACROSS THE Lebanese border.

America, or any other country, would never tolerate artillery attacks
across their borders by "liberation" forces bringing death and destruc-
tion to people, farms and factories and allow their country to be
paralyzed. The Jewish state also has the right of self-defense.

The Palestine Liberation Organization was transformed from a ter-
rorist gang into a terrorist army by a massive military buildup supplied
by the Soviets and paid for by Saudi Arabia and Libya — intended for
the liquidation of Israel.

Anger is a short madness.

The so-called "Palestinian" Arabs have been used by the Soviets and
most of the Arab states in their war-against-Jews. By language, _his--
tory and culture any Arab state, including Jordan —the Arab Palestine
— is a homeland for those who call themselves "Palestinians."

• PEACE FOR LEBANON by restoring to her people freedom,
independence and sovereignty over their own land.

Israel lived at peace with Lebanon until Lebanon was infested by the
PLO and occupied by the Syrians bringing ruin to their country. Those
few thousand terrorists that overwhelmed Lebanon are closely con-
nected to the Soviets. The PLO and the Syrians are detested, hated
and feared throughout .Lebanon.

• PEACE FOR WESTERN EUROPE & LATIN AMERICA
from terrorists trained and outfitted with deadly weapons by the PLO
in Lebanon

The Turk, Mehmet Ali Agca, who shot the Pope, trained for 40 days in
a terrorist camp near Beirut. The Italian Red Brigade that murdered
Italian Prime Minister Moro received their supplies from the PLO. The
United Nations so-called refugee camps, financed in the most part by
the U.S., are the military bases of the terrorists in Lebanon.

ZOA ACTION GUIDELINE

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED .. .

• For real peace in the Middle East, Lebanon must never again be
allowed to be the center of international terrorism.

• It would be unjust to Israel and the people of Lebanon to try to force an
Israeli withdrawal that would leave Lebanon still in the hands of those
Soviet agents, the PLO and Syria. The PLO must be completely
disarmed and Syrian forces withdrawn so Lebanon can again be a free
nation.

The Administration must not reward the PLO for laying down their
arms by granting them recognition — thereby legitimizing the at-
rocities they inflicted on innocent people in their war against the
Jewish people.

HERE IS HOW YOU CAN HELP .. .

1. Telephone the White House with your message of support for
Israel. The number is (202) 456-7639.

2. Write letters to newspapers, and your Senators.
