BBYO Activities Andy Kollin of Akiba AZA and Felissa Burns. of Ahavah BBG were installed as presidents of the Great Lakes AZA and BBG Coun- cils, respectively, at the an- nual BBYO Installation A*074i, ANDY KOLLIN held at Adat Shalom Synagogue. Andy has been a member of Akiba AZA for the past two years and recently con- cluded his term as president of that chapter. Gen. Maurice Rose AZA won the AZA Out- standing Chapter Award for the sixth consecutive year. The AZA Most Improved Chapter Award was won by Jack Benny AZA. Jimmy Kollin of Akiba AZA won the AZA Minutes Incentive Award "for keeping out- standing minutes of the chapter's meetings." The BBG Outstanding Chapter Award was shared by two chapters for the first time — Shalom Aviv BBG and Machar BBG. The BBG Most Improved Chapter Award was won by Machar BBG. Carrie Winograd of Yachad BBG, Windsor, won the BBG Minutes In- centive Award while Brice BBG won the BBG Scrap- book Contest. The Silver Shield of David, AZA's highest indi- vidual award, was pre- sented to Mark Kaplan of Herzl AZA, Windsor. The Bronze Shield of David, the second highest award, was won by Ted Efros, Gary Naf- taly and Brian Binder of Rose AZA and Aaron Oz- rovitz of L'Chaim AZA. A special Bronze Shield of David presentation was made to Joel Ungar, an alumnus of Beber AZA. The Gold Star of De- borah, BBG's highest in- dividual award, was pre- sented to Andrea Berk of Yachad BBG, Windsor; Tammy Sisler of Savage BBG; Beth Berman of Erani BBG; Joy Enoch of Chavayrim BBYO, Grand Rapids; Sharon Rich of Brice BBG; and Audrey Levine of Rishonah BBG.
