The summer science in- stitute, sponsored by the Is- raeli university, is con- ducted in English and pro- vides camp-like residence and activities on the insti- tute's 75-acre campus. The program includes a, 10-day period of field work and travel in the Negev to study the life systems, geol- ogy and climate of Israel's desert.
