Student to Study
at Weizmann
Mary Ann Kania, winner
of the Detroit Science and
Engineering Fair schol-
arship, will spend a month
of training and study at the
summer science institute at,
Weizmann Institute of Sci-
ence in Rehovot, Israel.
The summer science in-
stitute, sponsored by the Is-
raeli university, is con-
ducted in English and pro-
vides camp-like residence
and activities on the insti-
tute's 75-acre campus.
The program includes a,
10-day period of field work
and travel in the Negev to
study the life systems, geol-
ogy and climate of Israel's
desert. Sports, social activi-
ties and tours also are in-
cluded.
