claring that "no war can
provide by itself political
solution, "Simha Dinitz, Is-
rael's former ambassador to
the United States, said

no right to exist and, if
this is true, the 'PLO is
guilty of committing "liv-
ing genocide" against the
Jewish people. By whose
authority are they d _ eclar-
ing their position?
Israel has just as much
right to exist as any other
people. God- is no respecter
of persons and He created
all of us. Any nation which
takes sides against Israel is
just as guilty of fighting
against God as the PLO.
All Christians should be
up in arms, decrying the
persecution Israel is endur-
ing, and has endured, espe-
cially during the unbeliev-
able atrocities of the
Holocaust up until now. By
our faith, we are the
spiritual seed of Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob; the Israel-
ites are our brothers and
sisters. If we deny them, we
deny our faith and our
Father, God.
Great harm has been
done to the Jews in the
name of Christianity and
the name of Jesus Christ
has been profaned by people
who • call themselves Chris-
tians but who "hate Jews."
Jesus Christ was a Jew; of
the royal House of David. If
we say love Jesus and hate
Jews, we are liars and the
truth is not in us .. .
Let us all pray for the
peace of Jerusalem.

Why is there no peace in
the Middle East and why is
Israel constantly placed in
the position of having to
fight to defend her bound-
aries and the lives of her
citizens?
The answer was given
thousands of years ago and
man has deliberately cho-
sen to ignore it. However,
God has stated over and
over again that the Israel-
ites are His chosen people.
He goes with them to war to
fight for them against their
enemies, to save them!
God set the boundaries of
the Promised Land of the
Jews and no matter how
much other nationalities
dislike it, God gave it to the
Jews for an eternal inheri-
tance. When nations are
fighting against Israel, they
are actually fighting
against God; in an abso-
lutely "n6 win" position.
They have often been dis-
persed and oppressed but

moderate Arab states —
Egypt, Saudi Arabia and
Jordan — were not sorry

Dinitz contended that
Palestinians would be more
likely to negotiate with Is-
rael without having to fear
PLO reprisals and terror.
