Weizmann Friends to Gather The Detroit Division of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science will meet 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Birming- ham home of Paul Borman. Guest speaker will be Prof. David H. Samuel, Sherman Professor of Phys- ical Chemistry and director of the Center for Neurosci- ences and Behavioral Re- search at the Weizmann In- stitute of Science. Born in pre-state Israel, Prof. Samuel is the grandson of Viscount Her- bert Samuel, Britain's first High Commissioner of Palestine and himself the third viscount of Mt. Car- mel. He has been a member of the Weizmann Institute staff since 1949.
