The organization now consists of 13 congregations and groups throughout the U.S. The society voted to es- tablish a woodland in the Negev Desert, will encour- age its members to join the World Zionist Organiza- tion, and to support groups who favor civil liberties and the separation of religion from government in Israel. It also decided to co- sponsor with Kibutz Artzi, a secular kibutz movement in Israel, a second Conference of Secular and Humanistic Jews in Israel in June 1983.
