ADAT SHALOM Mig-
dal Tzion United
Synagogue Youth will have
a spring social 9:45 p.m.
May 22 in the home of
Melissa Okun, 3309
Hartslock Woods, West
Bloomfield. For directions,

Garinim will have a
planning meeting 2 p.m.
Sunday at the synagogue.
They will meet with Mari-
lyn Levy to discuss the
Garinim flower bed. Follow-
ing the meeting the group
will go bowling. There is a
charge for bowling.
Shoresh will meet at 3
p.m. Sunday in the syna-
gogue with Mrs. Levy.
Shoresh and Migdal
Tzion will have their an-
nual elections Sunday.
Shoresh will meet at 2:30
p.m. and Migdal Tzion at
3. Sixth graders are eligi-
ble to vote and run for
office in Shoresh elec-
tions.
The youth and education
department will sponsor its
third annual Tikun Leil
Shavuot 10 p.m. May 27 at
the home of Rabbi Efry
Spectre, 29700 W. 13 Mile,
Farmington Hills. The
Tikun will conclude with a
sunrise Shaharit service.
Leading sessions with
Rabbi Spectre are: Cantor
Earl Berris, Cantor Larry
Vieder and Rabbi and Mrs.
Robert Abramson. Admis-
sion is free, and adults are
invited.
Migdal Tzion has been
invited to participate with
the residents of the Federa-
tion Apts. in a grandpar-
ent-grandchild singing
group. There will be two
practice sessions and a per-
formance in June. To par-
ticipate, call Libby Alpern,
social action vice president,
626-7667; or Cantor Berris
at the synagogue, 851-5100.
Services will be held 10
a.m. Saturday for Nitzanim
and Makor. They will go to
the nursery for stories and
services.
Garinim will hold serv-
ices at 10 a.m. Saturday in
the chapel, and Shoresh and
Migdal Tzion USY will con-
duct services in the board
room, followed by kidush.

HILLEL MOSES youth
department is still taking
reservations for its June 13
trip to Cedar Point. The trip
will leave the synagogue at

Junior congregation will
hold services 10 a.m. Satur-
day, meeting at the Jewish
Federation Apts. Youth age
9-15 are invited. Children

hot dog dinner and games.

About 240 AZA and BBG
members will attend the
BBYO Elections Training
Conclave this weekend at
Camp Maas. The conclave
will feature workshops on
how to program, officer
skills, and self-awareness
and self-confidence. The
oneg Shabat tonight will be
on "American Jewish Atti-
tudes Toward Israel" and
the dance Saturday night
will have the theme "Elec-
tion Ball."
New Council officers for
AZA and BBG for the
1982-1983 programming
year will be elected. Coor-
dinators for the program are
Cheryl Slutzky of
Shoshanna BBG and Mark
Levin of Akiba AZA.
BBY0, announces the
election of the following
new chapter presidents:

Board of Directors will
hold its annual meeting
and board elections 8

accepted for coordinator of
the 1982 BBYO Regional
Convention which will be
held in December. Applica-

24 while the BBG coor-
dinator will be selected May
26.
The AZA Softball League
will begin play May 23 at
Southfield and Southfield-
Lathrup High Schools. Ap-
plications have been mailed
to all nationally-registered
members of AZA and team
registration for the league
must be completed by May

The BBYO Inter-
Regional Machon will take
place June 20-24 at the Bnai
Brith Perlman Camp in
Starlight, Pa. The program
will feature three program
tracks: Collective Settle-
ment and Wilderness Sur-
vival, Media and Values
and Sports. Deadline for 'ap-
plication to the Machon is
May 27. Applications are
