THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS

nce upon a time there was an American Jewish
- community known far and wide for its
generosity and caring.

Now, among the thousands of people in this community, there were
old people and young people, families in trouble, needy and
handicapped people. Just like in other cities.

But the special thing about this community is that its people

promised to give help to those who needed it.

Through good times and bad, they kept their promise.

This is no fairy tale. It is the Jewish community of Detroit
It is you.
