Tears — for All Who Sorrow

By MARTY ODGERS

I tell you that I won't cry,
But I do. .
The tears just fall out of my eyes.
My heart is so full and
hurts so!
I never know when it will happen,
I'm working, or walking, or reading,
or whatever,
And my heart just overflows,
And I cry.

They say tears wash away the hurt and pain
No, not really, they just help
You get through the days
Without your hearbreaking.

Tears are like rain from God.
He knows that our hearts can
stand just so much,
And then He sends the healing tears.

Ida Nudel's 51st Marked

'WASHINGTON (JTA) —
More than 100 men, women
and children from the
Greater, Washington
Jewish community demon-
strated outside the Soviet
Embassy to mark the 51st
birthday of Ida Nudel.
Meanwhile, the Union of
Councils for Soviet Jews has
released a photograph of
former= prisoner of con-
science Ida Nudel im-
mediately following her re-
lease from four years of
exile in Siberia. The photo
was taken in Moscow at the
birthday party of another
former PO C Mark
Nashpitz.
Miss Nudel is shown hold-
ing the Nashpitz baby and
with the dog that kept her
company during her exile.
Known as "Guardian
Angel," Miss Nudel was
accused of "malicious
hooliganism" and sent
into exile after hanging a
banner outside her bal-

ing the public order." Upon
his release, Nashpitz was

JERUSALEM (JNI) —
The past 12 years have wit-
nessed a major shift in pub-
lic attitudes towards ethnic
integration in the schools
and hostile reactions have
-practically disappeared, the
director-general of the Edu-
cation Ministry stated at a
seminar on integration.

University
Hebrew
sociologist Haim Adler said
that the constantly rising
rate of "intermarriage" be-
tween Jews of different cul-
tural backgrounds indicates
the social success of integra-
tion. Intermarriage across
cultural lines has almost
doubled since 1970.
