performer 8 p.m. May 11 in
the main sanctuary, spon-
sored by the Morris E.
Bloomberg Judaica and the
Jack Rosenbloom Memorial
Funds.
Ms. Alberstein's reper-
toire ranges from contem-
porary love songs to chil-
dren's songs, from Sholem
Aleichem ballads to all time
folk favorites.
Her latest recording,
"Like a Wildflower" is a col-
lection of songs written by
Israeli poets and writers.
She is a four-time winner of
Israel's Grammy, the "King
David" award and has a
total of 14 LPs to her credit,
four of them "gold."
