on Soviet Jewry, held in
Washington; the four-day
convention of the principals
of Orthodox day schools; the
Workmen's Circle conven-
tion; and annual conclaves
of other national Jewish
bodies.
At the national con-
claves one can see a
young generation of
Jewish leaders emerging.
The Jewish knowledge of
some of them may be
limited, but their dedica-
tion to Jewish causes in
all fields of Jewish com-
munal interests is
genuine and deep.
High on the agenda of
each of the conventions this'
season is, naturally, the
concern for Israel. The ques-
tion of what is the outlook
for Israel — and for the
American policy vis-a-vis
Israel after the comple-
tion of Israel's withdrawal
from Sinai is on the mind-of
every delegate.
