Abu Eain Trial
Begins in Israel

TEL AVIV — The trial of
Ziad Abu Eain, the Palesti-
nian who was extradited
from the United States last
December, began this week
in Israel.
He has been charged with
the murder of two Israelis in
a May 1979 bombing in the
Galilee town of Tiberias.
Abu Eain had been living in
Chicago with his sister until
he lost a U.S. Supreme
Court battle barring his ex-
traditittn.
