Following a parade down Civic Center Drive, the Amranim Brothers will entertain. Throughout the day, be- ginning at 11 a.m., booths and exhibits will be open at the Southfield Civic Center. Borman Foods, operators of Farmer Jack supermarkets will display a variety of products from Israel, in- cluding canned goods, cookies and wafers, candies, jarred olives and onions, teas, Jaffa citrus fruits and fruit concentrates, canned meats, panty hose and household plastic ware. Florist Male Floures will sell Israeli flowers imported for the celebration. They will include Star of Bethlehem and carnations. The Israel Indepen- dence Day Committee will have several food booths. Felafel, hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks will be available. Philip Tewel of Jewel Kosher Catering will have a food booth at the Civic Center throughout the day. According to reports, the grenade was hurled at a van driven by a civilian in which the soldier was a passenger. The five other civilians hurt were bystanders.
