plained.
"The goal of the Blue Rose
Gala is to raise $500,000 for
mentally handicapped chil-
dren."

The event will have the
full participation of Mrs.
Begin, who has invited
Nancy Reagan, first lady
of the United States, to
join her in this effort on
behalf of handicapped
children. Mrs. Reagan
has accepted.

Entertainers Sammy
Davis, Jr., and Barry Man-

Rose Gala, along with
Tovah Feldshuh, Ron Eli-

and others.

written by Gerda Klein.
Mrs. Begin chose "The Blue

There is also a custom of
providing the mourners
with round shapes of bread
such as bagels, etc. This, of
course, is again a symbol of
the eternity of the soul re-
presented by the never-
ending circumference of the
shape of the bread.
