THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Esther Milgrom Esther Milgrom, mother of Haya Hershkovitz, who with her husband Benny owns B and H Travel, died March 27 at age 81. A resident of Arad, Israel, Mrs. Milgrom and two sis- ters were the only members of their family to survive the Holocaust. They went to Russia during the war and through Youth Aliya went to pre-state Israel in 1942. Besides Mrs. Her- ,-1, kovitz, who resides in A Bloomfield, Mrs. Mil- `8 .om is survived by her husband, Yosef; three other daughters, Luba Levy of Beersheva, Israel, Mina Katz of Rishon LeTzion, Is- rael, and Yaffa Avram of Holon, Israel; two sisters, one in Israel and one in Paris; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchil- dren.
