Mike Whorf to Present Program
at Shaarey Zedek Women's Worl

Mike Whorf; host of Wit
radio's Kaleidoscope, will be
the featured artist at
"Woman's World 1982"
April 28 at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.
The day-long program,
sponsored by the sisterhood,
will begin with a continen-
tal breakfast and boutique
shopping at 10 a.m. Follow-
ing luncheon at noon.

tive, "An American
Parade."
In honor of Shaarey
Zedek's 120th anniversary,
he will incorporate vignet-
tes of its history into .his
dramatic musical presenta-
tion.

and program, scholarships,
"Service With Love," the
sukka and Town Hall
series.

past 15 years, he has been
host, narrator, re-
searcher, writer and
producer of KaleidO-
scope, a musical-
narrative featuring biog-
raphieA, historical
events, and the lives and
times of the famous and
infamous.
He won an award for his
five-part study of the life of
American Indians in the
'70s. Whorf has received
numerous awards and cita-
tions of merit for his pro-
grams including the distin-
guished George Foster Pea-
body Award, more than a
dozen Freedom Foundation
Awards and an honorary
Doctor of Fine Arts degree
from Albion College.
A special feature of
Woman's World, as always,
is the many boutique shops
where guests may browse
and buy a wide 'variety of
items. These will be open
both before and after . the
luncheon.
Featured will be cosme-
tics, stationery, books,_
candy, flowers, needlepoint,
accessories and more. In
addition, baked goods, pre-
pared by sisterhood mem-
bers; attic treasures and
ceremonial gifts from the
sisterhood gift shop will be
available for purchase.
