The student council of
Akiva Hebrew Day School
will have a booth at the
pavillion where they will
sell hand-made kipot. The
kipot will come in all sizes
and colors and student
council president Kelly Ro-
gers says the kipot can also
have Hebrew lettering with
the purchaser's name. Kelly
says that candy will also be
sold at the Akiva Hebrew
Day School booth.
Along with the booths
and exhibits inside the
Southfield Civic Center,
there will be a live musi-
cal program performed
by a professional Israeli
singing group. A printed
program including a list
of individuals who have
become patrons will be
distributed the day of the
event.
Alan Yost, chairman of
the parade, says that par-
ticipation in the parade may
also be in the form of a danc-
ing group or choral group,.
