AMSTERDAM (ZINS) —
The Iranian National Oil
Co. has filed a $1 billion
claim against Israel at the

Iran.
Israel counters that it suf-
fered substantial damage
exceeding Iran's claim
when the regime of Ayatol-

Work Offered

The Detroit Soviet Jewry
Committee of the Jewish
Community Council is mak-
ing available copies of the
Matza of Hope statement on
behalf of Soviet Jews.
Designed to be incorpo-
rated as part of the Passover
Seder, the statement calls
attention to the continuing
plight of Jews in the Soviet
Union who are denied the
right of religious and cul-
tural expression and also
prevented from leaving the
USSR.
Additional copies of the
statement, in limited quan-
tities, can be obtained by
calling the Jewish Commu-
nity Council office, 962-
1880.

table. Remember?
You used to watch with delight as Grandpa
filled it with Manischewitz wine-for it was your hon-
or (of all the grandchildren!) to run to the door
and open it for Elijah.
Now, even though you practice all the same
familiar Seder rituals you did as a child-the Four

Only now, you're the one who fills the cup. The
same fancy cup. The same Manischewitz wine.
And it's your grandchild who opens the door for
Elijah.
Manischewitz wishes you
