REPLACEMENT HIP for Eliot Raskin was recal- led one day prior to scheduled surgery last week at Mt. Carmel Hospital. New hip and surgery have been re-scheduled for April. Eliot has donated more than 13 gallons of blood (104 pints) to the American Red Cross during the last 20 years . . . and contributed two pints for himself prior to surgery . . . The two pints have now been frozen .. . Doctors want to use his own blood because they say it re- duces the risk of reaction. Eliot has donated for years at Cong.
