BONN (JTA) — A
Munich group called "Stop
the Nazi Terror" has de-
manded that the Bavarian
state government and the
federal authorities impose
an immediate ban on all
neo-Nazi organizations,
particularly those engaged
in paramilitary training.
Meanwhile, Karl - Heinz
Hoffmann, leader of the out-
lawed "Wehrsportsgruppe
Hoffmann," remains in cus-
tody pending trial for the
murder of a Jewish pub-
lisher in Nuremburg last
year.
In Vienna, a rightwing
politician who heads the
National Democratic Party
(NPD) in Austria is suing a
local journalist who labeled
him a neo-Nazi for libel.
Norbert Burger, chairman
of the NPD, who won about
three percent of the vote in
the last Presidential elec-
tions, objects to the term.
The journalist, who de-
scribed, Burger as one of
the most agile neo-fascist
activists, demonstrated
parallels between the
NPD and the old Nazi
Party. He said he could
prove his allegations. The
trial was adjourned until
May.
Meanwhile, effOrts of
former Nazis to find haven
in South America have
taken a new twist with the
appearance of advertise-
ments in neo-Nazi publica-
tions asking "patriots" to
settle in "our paradise off
the beaten track, in
Paraguay."

Jerusalem."
The chairman of the
