He was recognized as a metal sculptor and patron of the arts through the Lois and Alvin B. Spector Foun- dation for the Arts. He was involved inefforts on behalf of Yeshivath Beth Yehudah and was a member of the Prime Minister's Club of State of Israel Bonds, Cong. Shaarey Zedek and the Hebrew Benevolent Soc- iety.
