Jews have been urged to
concern themselves with
urban policy in an evalua-
tion which contends that
unless the United States
develops and strengthens
programs to revitalize
urban areas and help urban
poor, by 1990 America's
inner cities could be
marked by "growing con-
frontation between classes
and ethnic groups."
The recommendation to
Jews is contained in a book-
let on "Urban/Suburban
Problems," issued by one of
six task forces on the '80s
created by the American
Jewish Committee during
its 75th anniversary year.

according to New York
Magazine.
The singer-composei-,
whose given name is Robert
Zimmerman, has declined
to present the Gospel Song
of the Year award for the
National Music Publishers
Association and has chosen
to attend his son's Bar
Mitzva in California, a
source told the magazine.
It was highly publicized
last year that Dylan had be-
come a "Born Again" Chris-
tian.
