Fashion Show Will Highlight
Maimonides Women Donor

March 30.

A spring fasion show will
highlight the 36th annual
Maimonides Medical Soci-
ety Women's Auxiliary
donor luncheon noon March
30 at the Michigan Inn.
The show will feature the
original creations of many
new designers such as Dus-
chante, Helga Howie, Con-
chetta, Mrs. H. Winter and
Carol Peretz of Israel.
Rainwear, suits, sportswear
and evening clothing will be
featured. The choreography
will be done by Mari Winsor
Dance Company.
At 10:40 a.m. "Unique
Boutiques" will be opened
for shopping and browsirxg.
Hand-made sweaters, orig-

inal ceramics and art work,
cheesecakes, original
jewelry, stationery and
many more items will be
available.
Proceeds from the af-
ternoon will benefit med-
ical students in Michigan
and at the Hebrew Uni-
versity in Israel.

weis, spiritual leader of Val-
ley Beth Shalom in Califor-
nia, will speak for the Mid-
rasha Bargman Lecture
Series 8 p.m. Wednesday at
Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
Rabbi Schulweis will
speak on "Success,
Achievement and Jewish
Ethics."
Adjunct professor of con-
temporary Jewish civiliza-
tion at Hebrew Union Col-
lege in Los Angeles, Rabbi
Schulweis is a contributing
editor to The Reconstruc-
tionist, Sh'ma and Moment
magazines.
He received a BA de-
gree from Yeshiva Col-
lege, MA degree in phil-
sophy from New York
University, MHL degree
and ordination at the
Jewish Theological Sem-
inary and PhD degree
from the Pacific School of
Religion, Berkeley, Calif.
He is the author and co-
