Lyness, an associate pro-
fessor at Wayne State Uni-

Advisory Cabinet, Dr.
Lipstadt serves on the
boards of the Metropolitan
Region of the Los Angeles
Federation, Los Angeles
Hillel Council and Ameri-
can Professors for Peace in
the Middle East. Her in-
volvement includes mem-
bership in the Israel Fel-
lowship Committee and the
academic advisory commit-
tee of American Friends of
Hebrew University.

Dr. Lyness is a. spe-
cialist in problems of
family life and serves as a
consultant to Oakland
County Probate Court
Divorce Workshops, in
addition to her teaching
duties at WSU's depart-
ment of clinical and edu-
cational psychology and
marital counseling pro-
gram. She is also a co-
director of the Midwest-
ern Educational Re-
sources Center for out-
patient psychiatric coun-
seling. She also is a cer-
tified marriage coun-
selor.

Altwerger. The committee
includes Annie Cohen,
associate and program
chairman; Dena Golden,
adviser; Joyce Sherman,
secretary; Linda Soberman,
invitation chairman; and
Gloria Cohen and Sylvia
Rosenthal, decorations co-

and Shelby Tauber is
president of the Women's
Division. -

Music Auditions
Deadline Nears

Applications are still
being accepted by the Music
Study Club of Metropolitan
Detroit for auditions on
May 2 for scholarship assis-
tance for the Sept. 1982-
June 1983 academic year
and for summer study this
year.
Auditions are open to in-
termediate and advanced
students and to musicians
who intend to pursue music
in a professional capacity.
Applicants must be resi-
dents. of Michigan who are
in need of financial aid. Ap-
plication deadline is April 1.

Age limits are: In-
struments, through age
25; and vocalists, through
age 30.
