Judicial District Court in
the August primary elec-
tion. The 48th District
Court serves Birmingham,
Bloomfield Hills, Bloom-

bor, Orchard Lake, Sylvan
Lake and West Bloomfield
Township.

1 '8-oz. pkg. kosher-for-Passover Philadelphia Brand cream

cheese
/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsps. grated lemon rind
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
V2 cup shredded coconut
11/2 cups orange sections, well-drained
11/2 cups banana slices
1/2 cup orange marmalade
Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and
rind, mixing until well blended. Fold in whipped cream and
coconut. Spread mixture onto bottom and sides of 9-inch pie
plate. Freeze. Combine fruit and marmalade; mix lightly. Let
stand 5 minutes. Fill center of cream cheese shell with fruit.
Serve immediately.

Col. (res.) Yosef Shiftan,
former commander of com-
puter operations for the Is-
rael Defense Forces and a
doctoral candidate at New
York University, will be
guest speaker at a gather-
ing to be hosted Wednesday
by Mr. and Mrs. Allan
Pearlman at their home,
announce Dr. Martin Hart
and Norman A. Pappas,
general chairmen.
The meeting is part of the
ongoing educational series
organized by Paul Zlotoff,
education chairman. .
Col. Shiftan is a former
Bar-Ilan University stu-
dent, and has been on its
staff since 1966, only a year
after completing his BS de-
