Holocaust Institute Appoints Marcia Linen Its Director — PHILADELPHIA Marcia Sachs Littell has been appointed executive director of the National In- stitute on the Holocaust, an interfaith Holocaust educa- tion agency based in Philadelphia. The appointment is the latest step in a reorganiza- tion of the institute's board that began last fall with Dr. Rufus Cornelson succeeding Dr. Franklin Littell as chairman. Dr. Littell, whose column appears regularly in the Jewish News, is Mrs. Lit- tell's husband. Mrs. Littell earned BA and MA degrees from Temple University and is currently a doctoral can- didate in social studies education. Her disserta- tion is a study of six selected high school pro- grams in teaching the Holocaust. The Littells were among the founders of the insti- tute, which develops study material concerning the Holocaust for high schools and colleges throughout the country. Military Aid NEW YORK (JTA) — Anti-Defamation The League of Bnai Brith has urged the Administration and Congress to increase military aid to Israel by $300 million by a grant in fiscal 1983 to counteract a massive Arab arms buildup.
