Services, carnivals and other activities scheduled for Purim throughout the community will be held as follows: ADAT SHALOM SYNAGOGUE: The youth department will sponsor a Purim carnival 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the synagogue. Chairmen are: Audrey Lawson, Patti Lieberman and Hadas Reiter. Lunch- eon will be served at a charge. There will be a cos- tume carnival. Purim services will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The Megilla will be read by Gor- don Berris, David Leder- man, Jon Levy, Howard Lupovitch, Jeff Lupovitch, Michael Nachman, Michael Rocklin and Joseph Starkman. Youth are re- quested to wear costumes. Rabbi Efry Spectre will of- ficiate and Cantor Larry Vieder will chant the liturgy. A Purim Seuda will fol- low 6 p.m. services Tuesday.
